About this event
The inaugural TAIWA – DRC-Japan Salon Launch Session marks the official opening of a new platform dedicated to dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge exchange between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Japan. This milestone gathering will bring together diplomats, business leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and members of civil society to explore shared perspectives on economic cooperation, innovation, and sustainable development. The session will also present the mission and long-term vision of the TAIWA – DRC-Japan Salon and outline key themes for dialogue and collaboration for the 2026–2027 period.
Participants will benefit from keynote presentations, moderated discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and fostering new partnerships between Congolese and Japanese stakeholders.
